The label is quite modest as it does not flaunt the fact that this is the third wine of Lynch-Bages. Started in 2009 and made entirely from young vines on the estate it is amazing that this wine is offered at this price. A blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, it has a gorgeous, purple hue, a complex and mouthwateringly aromatic nose of black cherries, cassis and hints of graphite, whilst the palate has plenty of weight & length with silky tannins.
