Deep ruby colour. Maturation in a 50/50 blend of new French oak barriques and older seasoned wood for 2 years offered this Cab Sauv an exciting bouquet of blackcurrant and blackberry fruits. Flowing through the palate as well, these black fruit characters combine with nice acidity and fine grained tannins, making it an elegant, savoury and rich wine.
The wine tastes best with lamb, braised red meat dishes, and firm cheeses.
