Favourable ripening conditions through February and March 2018 allowed the Grenache berries to form good tannin structure as well as fleshy ripe Grenache fruit character. Intense varietal red fruit notes include cherry and raspberry. The palate is broader and richer than that of the lean 2017 vintage, allowing it to be more readily drunk in its youth. Some white pepper spice and light tannin bring structure and finesse to this drinkable style of Grenache.
